The friesian mare walked over to the brook. She wasn't as young as she used to be...by any means. Her vision was leaving her. She'd been through much in her life, and dearly missed Sage. She didn't even know if he was alive. They'd been through so much together, but now, she feared she'd lost him. She lifted her head, and gave a call for the stag who'd held her heart sense the first day they'd met. :Sage, Sage where are you?: She could sense him, somewhere, but was it for real? Or just her imagination.

Silence the world....... Never far was he. No matter the distance. He had heard no call. He heard nothing. Yet a sensation of closeness lead him forward toward another being. That of his love, Cyclone. Sage's white fur shimmered like it had so many years ago wheb they were young, but the scars from the fire and violence had made its mark. A visible one at that. The flood memories seeme to glaze his eyes, twas the only thing readable in those deep darkened orbs. His daughter was no where to be found, had she departed from the world? He made himself visible to the black femmora as he always did. He did not speak. He did not hear. He did not walk. Steed of white was dying. He knew his time was coming, he had fought death numerous times but this time, there was no escape. .....And all who inhabit it

(oh come on! horses can live longer than 20 years! lol)
Cyclone looked around, and she saw the white figure in the distance. She smiled, and started walking. There was a lose rock in her path, but she didn't see it, and she slipped, landing on her side. Curse her leaving eyes. She stood up again, and continued walking. She didn't want to go much faster, for fear of sliping again. She made her way to him and nudged him gently, now she knew for sure that it was him. She smiled, Oh I've missed you so! She looked around, searching for their foal, which she wouldn't see her anyways, but she didn't smell her either...Where's Mystic? She hoped he wouldn't notice her lack of seeing, but she had to squint to see anything clearly,

>I know but my muse for him is seriously gone < Till Death do us part Not a word of hers touched his ivory auds, he heard nothing but his own thoughts. He felt her feeling of joy, and then sudden hidden disappointment shattered the joy. She wants to know where Myst is..... He did not know.. He just shook his head quietly as a reply. Sage noticed Cyclones squinting. He always had noticed the little things though. They were both growing old, he seemed to be getting more tired more quickly than she but he knew death could lurk around every corner, every sleep. He nuzzled her quietly, as if to know her oncoming thoughts.

She nudged him again, he was acting strangely, Are you alright? She frowned but knew she didn't have that long either. She looked into the distance, not seeing anything though, not that she had expected to see anything. All she could see of Sage was this white blur before her. She frowned, but looked at him.
